What happens after my surgery?

After your surgery, you will be given a packet of detailed post-operative instructions. These instructions will contain information on dietary restrictions, medication usage and dosage recommendations, and tips for post-operative oral hygiene. The days following surgery, you will be instructed to eat liquid and soft foods like broth-based and pureed soups, smoothies, and steamed vegetables.
