Speaker 1, Dr. Rich Miller: Welcome, I am Dr. Rich Miller with Central Oklahoma Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates, COOMSA for short. I am fortunate to spend every day transforming lives by bringing back people’s smiles. COOMSA is the home of the All on 4, Teeth in a Day procedure. We are a nationally recognized center of excellence for All on 4 in the United States. We are at our Stillwater office today. We have three offices, Tulsa, Stillwater, and Oklahoma City, so we can make care convenient for you. Come on in, we will show you how this procedure works.
If you have been living with dental pain, cavities, loose or missing teeth, or a denture that moves and causes sores, there is no reason to keep struggling. We can provide you with a brand new smile, in one day. The moment you walk in, you will meet a team that is excited to help you through the entire process. This is Tracy, she has been with us since 1996 and knows everything about everything. This is Ashley, our amazing office manager who helps everything run smoothly, so your experience is as easy as possible.
Speaker 2: When I first came to COOMSA I was a little apprehensive. Once I got through the door, everybody was so warm. They wanted to make sure my outcome was exactly what I wanted.
Speaker 1, Dr. Miller: Many of you have felt like giving up on dentistry. Maybe it started with a toothache. Your dentist placed a filling. Later the tooth hurt again, it had abscessed, so you had a root canal and a crown. Then the tooth cracked, and it had to be removed. You spent time and money, and it was frustrating. Most patients who come to us have been dealing with dental issues for years. It affects their physical health and their emotional health, especially their ability to smile.
I meet so many people who say they do not even want to leave the house because they do not want anyone to see their teeth. There is hope. Imagine going to a restaurant and picking up the menu without having to wonder what you can eat. Imagine eating anything you want, a big juicy steak, corn on the cob, a great salad. Come see us. We can restore your smile, your ability to chew and enjoy food, and your confidence.
Speaker 3: Before I came to COOMSA it was hard to eat an apple or anything firm. My teeth always hurt. Now I can eat anything I want.
Speaker 4: Back when I had dentures, I did not enjoy eating. They would slide, and I would have to get up to put adhesive in them. I carried a tube in my purse at restaurants. After they slid a third time, I would just stop eating.
Speaker 2: At my previous dentist I would get an infection, we would fill a cavity, then three months later another filling would fall out. It was never ending, always another appointment, more cost, and no real solution.
Speaker 5: My teeth had deteriorated to the point that one would break in half about every other month. Some of it was age, some of it was poor hygiene when I was younger. It reached the point where I had infections in the bone. My dentist in Cushing said we would need to do something drastic or I would not be able to keep my teeth. That led me to COOMSA.
Speaker 6: I still had a full mouth of teeth, but I was in a lot of pain. We saw Teeth in a Day on TV. My husband said, I think that is what you need. I agreed.
Speaker 5: When your appearance and how you function change, it affects how you feel about yourself. Losing teeth makes you stop smiling. You cannot eat what you enjoy, especially crunchy foods. I am a big steak eater, and it impacted my diet. There is nothing pleasant about teeth problems.
Speaker 2: Before treatment I was reluctant to laugh and engage with people at work because of my appearance. My self esteem was low. Things are much better now.
Speaker 1, Dr. Miller: We offer a fixed set of teeth that are customized for you and do not come in and out. Here is how we do it. There are three key phases, consultation, smile design, and implant placement.
The journey begins with a complimentary consultation and a cone beam CT scan. That lets me assess your bone and determine if you are a candidate. Every patient is unique, different genetics and dental histories. When you see us, you are treated as a person, not a number. You will also meet Julie, our implant coordinator, who will walk with you from start to finish.
Speaker 7, Julie, Implant Coordinator: I am here to explain the process and what to expect. Patients often ask, how much pain will I have, how long does it take, what does it cost, and what will insurance cover. I go over everything in detail. For financing, we have several options to help you find a monthly payment that fits your budget. We see patients from all walks of life with many different dental issues. When you come here, you will feel comfortable. There is no judgment. We just want to answer your questions so you can make the best decision for you.
Speaker 3: The people were amazing, never judgmental. I was self conscious about how I looked, but nobody made me feel that way. They made me feel good.
Speaker 8, Dr. Michael Lloyd: I trained in Chicago, where I first learned this procedure and saw how it transforms smiles and lives. I joined Dr. Miller and the team at COOMSA because of their compassion and care. Working with Dr. Miller is inspiring. He invests time, technology, and resources to enhance patients’ lives.
Speaker 9: Dr. Miller is authentic and very kind. His purpose is to do the best job for every patient. He worked hard to give me teeth that fit and look good. I am thrilled. It was worth the money and the time.
Speaker 2: There were a lot of options, and the process was easy. Affording it was possible with the options they offered.
Speaker 3: I kept needing root canals. My dentist told me I had so much more work to do that I might as well do this instead.
Speaker 1, Dr. Miller: Now we move from consultation to smile design. You may have had traditional impressions with a big tray and goop. Now we do it digitally. A small wand scans your teeth and gums to create a precise 3D image. We take that image into our lab software to create a beautiful new smile just for you.
We combine your CT scan, a 3D intraoral scan, and a 3D facial image. Back in the lab we bring everything together in our design software to custom design your smile. We have invested in the latest digital dental technology across the office, from consultation, to design, to placement, to follow up. Every step is designed to make the process easier and to deliver the best result as quickly as possible.
Speaker 2: I appreciated being able to customize my teeth to my personality and lifestyle.
Speaker 5: Choosing the shade was important to me. They had a full selection of samples, so I could match what I wanted. The technology is unbelievable.
Speaker 3: When they customized my teeth, the first set went in and a month later I decided I wanted changes. I could change the shape and the shade. I got to pick everything. Getting teeth customized to my mouth mattered because I got the smile I always wanted, even better than before.
Speaker 1, Dr. Miller: Once your smile is designed, it is time for placement. You will come in for an outpatient procedure to remove failing teeth and place your implants, and you will leave with a new smile the same day. On surgery day you come to one of our surgical suites. We place monitors, you go to sleep, and that is really all you should know about. While you sleep we remove any teeth that need to come out, place the implants, and put in dissolving stitches. When you wake up, everything is numb and the hard part is done. While the lab finishes your teeth that day, we will get you fed, start your medicines, and get you comfortable with Netflix or YouTube TV.
We print your new teeth that day on a 3D printer, then custom stain and place them. It is often very emotional. Patients tear up when they see their new smile for the first time. I tear up too. There are a lot of hugs. Being able to give people a beautiful new smile is what I love, and I never get tired of it.
Speaker 2: When they described the process I was doubtful, but surgery day was the best feeling ever. I would not have wanted anything different. I tell anyone who will listen, this is the way to go.
Speaker 3: Getting teeth the same day was awesome. I walked out with a huge smile, which I had not had in years. Recovery was easier than fillings. I went home the same day, took Tylenol, and felt great. I could speak clearly, and I had perfect teeth. It was amazing.
Speaker 2: Recovery was easy and quick. I went right back to work. People just noticed I seemed really happy.
Speaker 6: The very next morning I sat up and said, wow, I have no pain. To know that, at my age, there is still hope for a pain free smile that makes people ask why I am so happy, that is wonderful.
Speaker 1, Dr. Miller: After you receive your new smile, you get to test drive it for a few weeks. We will advance your diet and see how you function with chewing. When you are sure you love your teeth, we will mill your final set. We mill from zirconia, a beautiful, tough material that does not break or stain, for a long lasting smile.
This is another part of our digital workflow. We have two mills in house. One mills titanium and other materials, and one mills everything except titanium. Many dental offices can mill a crown or a short bridge. Our mills can create an entire full arch bridge in one piece. In many practices, you would bounce between dentist, surgeon, imaging center, and a remote lab. We invested in advanced technology under one roof to make the process easier and faster for you, with less time away from life.
Speaker 2: Having all the technology in one building, without going place to place, was the best experience I have had in any medical setting.
Speaker 5: Having been through it, it is worth the investment. The time they take, the technology, the concern, the care, and the customer service are impactful. I am happy to have teeth I can smile with, not teeth that break at night.
Speaker 10: At COOMSA we are about changing lives for the better. Here are a few transformations.
First is Braun. He had tooth pain for more than 10 years. His teeth were crumbling, and he was unhappy. His pre op pictures showed several missing teeth and severe decay. He had veneers on the front, but the underlying teeth were badly decayed. After treatment he has a beautiful smile. You cannot keep him from smiling. He enjoys being out with people again and feels ready to take on the world.
Next is John. He could not eat anything cold because it hurt. He had multiple deep cavities, which caused pain with cold foods. After his transformation he can eat anything he wants, including cold foods, with no pain.
Next is Pat. She had an upper denture. Her teeth were short, she showed a lot of gum, and she was unhappy with her smile and chewing. We customized the gum tinting on her bridge so it looks natural for her. Now she loves her smile and can eat anything she wants. If I see her at a Thunder game, I am buying her a hot dog.
Then Linda. She had staining, crooked teeth, and some missing teeth. We gave her a brand new set of zirconia teeth, a very durable material that does not stain. She did not like her smile before. Now she loves it.
Finally, Brian. He struggled to chew. At first glance his before and after might not look remarkable, but inside the mouth he was only biting on his second molars. Nothing else touched, so chewing was difficult. Now his teeth line up, he can chew properly, and he enjoys all the foods he loves.
Speaker 4: When I hear COOMSA and Dr. Miller’s name, I know I will be taken care of by caring, kind, and knowledgeable people who want to help you smile.
Speaker 2: They have made my life so much better. The care for a complete stranger was amazing. It felt like family.
Speaker 5: They are my family now. I have never had better customer care. My wife could not believe it, and she has been in hospitals many times. The service and concern from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave are unbelievable, the best I have ever had.
Speaker 2: The customized teeth fit like a glove. I do not have the problems that come with dentures, food getting under them or rushing to rinse. They are there every day and easy to care for, just brush and water floss. They fit like a glove.
Speaker 4: My son researches all my doctors. He came on procedure day, met everyone, and when Dr. Miller walked us to the car, he told him he had a fabulous team and he would send anyone here.
Speaker 6: My health is so much better. We figured out a way to afford it, and I am grateful. I am thankful they were here for me.
Speaker 5: With my new teeth, I am back to eating everything I want, from corn on the cob to sunflower seeds. It has changed the way my life works, and I appreciate that.
Speaker 2: The first thing I did was show my family. My grandkids wanted to know if I could eat pizza with them. I did, for the first time in years.
Speaker 9: I used to need crowns and constant work. Now my problems are solved. I can eat anything I want, and I get lots of compliments. People say I look younger and smile more. I do not know why I waited so long.
Speaker 5: I first walked in with missing and failing teeth that were discolored and breaking. I came back a few months later with a brand new full set that does not come out. They are white and shiny. I looked in the mirror and saw the grin I always wanted. That speaks volumes.
Speaker 1, Dr. Miller: No matter how discouraged you are, even if you have been told you do not have enough bone for implants, come see us. We have been doing this since 2005. Let us show you how we can make it work for you.
